The collection consists of the papers of Williamson Sylvester Stuckey from 1966-1977. The bulk of the collection contains administrative and legislative files relating to Stuckey's interest in agriculture, commerce, defense, education, and welfare and his service on the Interstate and Foreign Commerce Committee. Additional materials pertain to Stuckey's campaigns (1966, 1972-1976); press files containing speeches and press releases, case files, and business files relating to his business interests in Stuckeys, Inc. and the International Dairy Queen, Inc. The collection also includes the papers of Wallace Jernigan (1961-1962), executive secretary to Georgia Governor S. Ernest Vandiver.
